Student Ministries

ALIVE Wesleyan Student Ministries (AWSM) exists to reach spiritually hungry students, introduce them to Jesus Christ, and connect them to Christian community.  When this takes place, students learn to own their own faith, own the Church, and own the mission of God in their everyday lives.

AWSM Nights

On Large Group Nights, or AWSM nights, teens in 6th-12th grade converge for a recharging, challenging experience. A typical AWSM night starts when we sign in and hang out for a few minutes before the doors open — this is where we get to catch up with friends and meet new people. Next we move into all kinds of fun and high-energy worship. We spend some time talking through practical teaching, and break into small groups (Huddles) to reflect on and apply this teaching.

Small Groups

Groups are led by positive, background checked adults who are hand-picked for just this kind of ministry. Each group meets at the time and location that works best for students, parents, and leaders. Each group is unique, but centered on consistency, community, and care.  Please be patient - placing students in the right group sometimes takes a little time, but it’s so worth it!

Club 56

Central Campus Only - 5th & 6th Grade

Club56 is designed for 5th and 6th graders to grow spiritually and personally, connect with peers and leaders that care for them, and to have a blast doing it!
We seek growth for Club56 students through developing their personal identity, growing their relationship with God, and creating faith rhythms such as reading the Bible and praying. Club56 partners with and empowers parents to lead their kids well.

We meet on Sunday nights from 5:30-7:00p throughout the public school year.

Sunday Mornings

Sunday Mornings are incredibly rich times at ALIVE! Students are vibrant and active in worship and service. These are two crucial ways our teens experience Christ and His Community, the Church! You'll see students in every worship experience, and parking cars, making coffee, greeting and hosting visitors, caring for kids, and helping lead worship!
