Tom Harding is Rachel, Sarah and Thomas' father. He is Lisa's husband. Tom's personal mission is to live, love and lead like Christ. His passion is reclaiming the local church as the transforming hope for the world. Tom is refueled by time with family, golf, a great book, coffee and the beach.
Student Ministries Pastor
Matt is married to Anna and they have a daughter, Emmalyn, and a son, James. Matt is passionate about young people finding hope and purpose in Jesus. He considers barbecue and picnic foods to be their own food group, and he loves to start his morning with a balanced breakfast of coffee. He lives in denial that the 90's ended.
Justine is married to her best friend, Matthew. Justine desires to see God reach the next generation through the local church, and loves being a part of that mission. Justine enjoys mountain biking and hiking with her husband, reading and writing poetry, visiting used book stores, and drinking coffee with friends.
Heather is married to Paul, and they have two beautiful children, a son Jackson, and daughter Bennett. She loves to sing, and enjoys helping others value the importance of musical worship. On her day off, you will find her bargain shopping or searching for the best blue cheese in Clemson. Heather’s favorite things to do are laughing, hanging out with family, watching a good show, or going for a run!

Paul loves the hot, sunny SC weather, especially when he can be at the lake. He considers his wife, Heather, to be one of his greatest assets in ministry. They have two kids: their son, Jackson and their daughter, Bennett. Paul is passionate about the church operating effectively and efficiently to fulfill its mission. Paul loves every kind of adventure—one of his life mottos is "Live for the story."

Beth is married to Justin and together they have three amazing kids. She loves having having great food and great coffee with great people, traveling, reading and spending time at soccer games. Beth loves seeing people fall in love with Jesus and the church. Her favorite quote is "The best of all is, God is with us." – John Wesley
Traditional Worship Leader
Amy Evans-Gregory is married to Wayne, and is the mother to Annie-Kate. Amy is passionate about enabling others to develop their talents and gifts in music. She feels blessed to also teach music at Concrete Primary School in Powdersville, SC. She loves to vacation in the mountains of Tennessee, or at Siesta Key Beach, Florida - where Amy promises that the water is crystal clear, and the sand is never hot on your feet!
Christin and her husband Dusty have spent all of our married life in Central. They have had two adorable daughters, Reese and Lucy. She enjoys connecting with friends (old and new) over coffee or dinner. She also likes to exercise, so much so that she has become licensed in Zumba and certified in RIPPED. Christin loves that she is able to bring support to a body that has supported her family over the years. Her favorite quote is "All you need is Love."
Assistant Director of The Growing Place
Cait is passionate about helping kids learn about Jesus on their level. She has one beautiful daughter, Macklyn, and is married to her husband, Matt. She frequently overpays for fancy coffee drinks, and is a connoisseur of macaroni and cheese. She is also Courtney Dickerson’s emergency contact which she considers to be her biggest accomplishment.
Pete is married to Kim and is also the proud grandpa to three beautiful grandkids. He loves golf and taking walks with his wife and his dog Shadow. He is passionate about helping people discover their place of service within the ALIVE community. He loves finding new and creative events and experiences that bring families to church.
Pleasant View Campus Pastor
Kehl grew up in a small town in the upstate of South Carolina and is married to Gracie. He has been attending ALIVE since he was a kid when Pete Wood first welcomed him into kids ministry at then First Wesleyan Church. He has a deep desire to see each person walking through the doors of ALIVE to find a lasting relationship with Jesus and experience the transformative power of God in a community through the local church. He is an adventurer by nature, an avid coffee drinker, and enjoys the hobby of Leather-smithing.
Creative Arts Director
Mallory is a Florida native who moved to South Carolina to escape the tourists and stifling heat. Her favorite things about living here are the mountains, the people, and the sweet tea. She has a passion for student ministry and helping teens find and follow God’s plan for their lives. She loves creating forts with her niece, singing in the shower, and eating chips and salsa.

Jake is married to Katie and they have a daughter, Eliana. He is passionate about leveraging technology to further the Kingdom of God. He is a perpetual learner who loves reading, music, hiking, traveling, and coffee.
Assistant to the Executive Pastor
Stephanie is passionate about the church partnering with families, so together, they may influence kids for Jesus Christ. She has two incredible kids, Ellie and Mitchell, and is married to her husband, David. She loves to sing, bake desserts, Pinterest, and drink sweet tea.
Pastor of Congregational Care
Fred has been serving in the church since 1977, including 30 years as senior pastor. He served as a missionary in Sierra Leone for five years before coming to Central. He has been married to Sonnie for over 40 years. They have two daughters, Melanie and Allyson, and four grandsons.
Assistant to the Children's Pastor
Katelyn has a passion for building community through Christ-centered fellowship and family. Her favorite word is “adventure” and she aims to dive head first into every adventure God leads her into. Katelyn enjoys drives to nowhere, thrift stores, sporting events, and complicated coffee orders.
Assistant to the Director of The Growing Place
Taylor is a 2015 graduate of Southern Wesleyan University. She has attended ALIVE for six years, became a member earlier this year, and has been working in the ALIVE office since November. She is excited to begin working with Connie, The Growing Place staff, and children as ALIVE continues to impact the 10,000 unchurched kids in Pickens County.
A native of Indiana who now calls South Carolina home, Jeremy is the husband of Andrea and father to Macy, Ava, Micah, and Ty. He most often thinks and writes about discipleship, missiology, and on topics of church and culture. Jeremy is passionate about seeing lives and communities transformed and he celebrates when disciples and churches are multiplied. Jeremy loves spending time with his family, traveling, hiking, watching football…and he probably drinks too much coffee.
