We are so excited to continue Camp ALIVE this summer! It has offered an incredible service to families and has been a safe place for kids to spend summers. ALIVE believes so strongly in this ministry, that we want to see it grow and expand to serve more families in the community.

WHAT IS CAMP ALIVE?

Kids will have an incredible summer at Camp ALIVE. Their days will be filled with a variety of indoor and outdoor activities and expertly trained counselors who are passionate about caring for and leading school-aged kids. At Camp ALIVE we are committed to providing a safe environment where campers can have fun, grow in character, develop lasting friendships and make lifetime memories.

WHO IS CAMP ALIVE FOR?

Kids age 5 through completed 5th grade
We also have a Counselor In Training Program available for students who have completed 6th -10th grades. There is limited space available for this age range, so students must apply and be interviewed. This program will provide opportunities to grow in leadership skills by shadowing a full-time counselor.

Where is Camp ALIVE located?

The Alive Wesleyan Central Campus located at 136 Chastain Road in Central, SC

What is the cost?

$100 weekly

How are payments processed and when are they due?

You have 2 options when you register for camp.
1) You may either pay in full
2) Pay weekly through the Brightwheel system

How are campers grouped?

Campers will be grouped by age and occasionally by gender as well during their time at camp There will be a ratio of two counselors to 20 campers.

What weeks does the camp operate? What are the hours for camp and when do I drop off and pick up?

The camp operates for 8 weeks from June 3rd to July 26th, closing July 4th and 5th. Operating hours are 7 am to 6 pm. For a child to get the most out of the camp experience we suggest arriving by 9 am. Pick up is recommended between 5pm and 6pm.

What are your qualifications for Counselors?

Our counselors are hand-selected through our extensive process of interviews, reference and background checks. We look for counselors who are actively seeking Jesus and display the highest qualities of Christian character, responsibility and integrity and are camper-centered in everything they do. Once hired, we make a personal investment in our counselors through weekly Bible studies. All of our staff go through an annual pre-summer training where they receive all of their required training including CPR and First-Aid.

What do I need to pack for my child?
