LOCAL OUTREACH
Serving the community is part of the heartbeat of ALIVE
Local Outreach
Community service is most effective when individuals can engage in long-term relationships with organizations and individuals. And we would love to see every member at ALIVE serving our community on a regular basis.
Serving the community is part of the heartbeat of ALIVE. Throughout the year the ALIVE community gives to local organizations and attendees are challenged to engage in an all-play project in our community. These projects have an incredible impact on our church body and on those with whom we partner.

This is a great place to spend some time loving on the Clemson community.
Serve At Your Local Church
If you have a church home, plug in and serve! If you haven't found your church home yet, please join us on Sunday mornings at one of our campuses.
If you are interested in volunteering, we have multiple ways that you can get plugged in.
Volunteer at a School
Pickens County Schools
Volunteer your time helping teachers in the Pickens County School system! They need people to read to student, help out in the classrooms and go on field trips!
Several training opportunities are available. Show up to one of the schools on the desired night.
Anderson School District 2
Mentoring provides guidance and support for students who may face life changes that they cannot handle on their own. Mentoring is a powerful and life altering opportunity for students to learn a variety of personal and professional skills from adults in the Belton-Honea Path community.
Become a YMCA Mentor
The YMCA partners with students in both Pickens and Anderson Counties and while setting up mentors for these students.
The teachers and administrators of the schools also brag on this program and how it has impacted their schools immensely!
