The church lives and dies on the devotion of her people.
What will awaken the church is a renewed devotion of the individual to God and a commitment to being his bride.
2 Chronicles 7:1
When Solomon finished praying, fire came down from heaven and consumed the burnt offering and the sacrifices, and the glory of the LORD filled the temple.
2 Chronicles 7:14
If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land.
The position of revival is humility.
I need Thee ev'ry hour, most gracious Lord;
No tender voice like Thine, can peace afford.
I need Thee, oh, I need Thee; Ev'ry hour I need Thee;
Oh bless me now my Savior, I come to Thee.
The response of revival is repentance.
If revival is being withheld from us it is because some idol remains still enthroned; because we still insist in placing our reliance in human schemes; because we still refuse to face the unchangeable truth that, 'It is not by might, but by My Spirit.’

2 Chronicles 12:7
When the LORD saw that they humbled themselves, this word of the LORD came to Shemaiah: "Since they have humbled themselves, I will not destroy them but will soon give them deliverance.
Is it possible we don’t want God to move in our hearts, because we are comfortable in our level of devotion?
Is your life marked with humility?
When was the last time you repented?
Have you received God’s forgiveness and healing?
