Have you ever had to face a conflict you feel totally unqualified or unprepared to tackle?
Stuck and hopeless translates to resignation and giving up.
Belief #1 — I need hope in the midst of impossible situations and I find that in Jesus.
Belief #2 — God has done some of his greatest work in my life and the lives of people closest to me, when impossible situations were faced with Him.
“It ain’t what it could be.”
Definition — Faith is the confidence that Jesus is who he says he is and he will keep every promise he has made to us.
Foundation — Faith is based on Jesus alone, who He is and what He has already done for us.
Directive — Faith always leads to action.
Hebrews 11:23–27
It was by faith that Moses’ parents hid him for three months when he was born. They saw that God had given them an unusual child, and they were not afraid to disobey the king’s command.
It was by faith that Moses, when he grew up, refused to be called the son of Pharaoh’s daughter. . . It was by faith that Moses left the land of Egypt, not fearing the king’s anger. He kept right on going because he kept his eyes on the one who is invisible.
It was by faith that the people of Israel went right through the Red Sea as though they were on dry ground. But when the Egyptians tried to follow, they were all drowned.
Exodus 3:12
God answered, “I will be with you.
Exodus 3:14
God replied to Moses, “I AM Who I AM.
Better the prison you know than the freedom you don’t.
Exodus 14:13–14
But Moses told the people, “Don’t be afraid. Just stand still and watch the Lord rescue you today . . . The Lord himself will fight for you. Just stay calm.”
Truth 1 — I AM goes with us.
Exodus 15:1–2,11
He pitched horse and rider into the sea. God is my strength, God is my song, and, yes! God is my salvation . . . Who compares with you among gods, O God? Who compares with you in power, in holy majesty, In awesome praises, wonder-working God?
Truth 2 -- Because God goes with us, we don’t avoid the impossible.
Matthew 19:26
“Humanly speaking, it is impossible. But with God everything is possible.”
