We pray to connect to God.
We fast to disconnect from the world.
Hebrews 11:1
Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see.
To believe to the extent of complete trust and reliance
Do I believe in God to the extent of complete trust and reliance?
Hebrews 11:3
By faith we understand that the universe was formed at God’s command, so that what is seen was not made out of what was visible.

As a person of faith, why am I living as if I do not have any?

He knew God
He knew the power of prayer.

1 Timothy 1:12–16
I thank Christ Jesus our Lord, who has given me strength, that he considered me faithful, appointing me to his service. Even though I was once a blasphemer and a persecutor and a violent man, I was shown mercy because I acted in ignorance and unbelief. The grace of our Lord was poured out on me abundantly, along with the faith and love that are in Christ Jesus. Here is a trustworthy saying that deserves full acceptance: Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners—of whom I am the worst.
1 Corinthians 13:4–7
Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.

Ephesians 3:16–17

When we know God and remember how he has saved us, we cannot help but pray first, because we are people of faith.

1.) FOR GODLY LIVING:

2.) FOR MINISTRY OPPORTUNITY AND SUCCESS:

For I long to see you in order that I may impart some spiritual gift to you, that you may be established.”

10.) FOR MORE HOPE:

11.) FOR THE FULLNESS OF GOD:
