Grinchmas - Week 4

Change is possible.

What kind of person do I want to be?

What kind of life do I want to live?

We’ve tried to behave better, but nothing changed on the inside.

Matthew 5:48 (NIV84) Be perfect, therefore, as your heavenly Father is perfect.

Telios—that which has reached its goal, purpose and limit; complete and lacking nothing, finished.

We have the kind of God who will go to the extreme to do everything needed to finish the goal that he set out to accomplish.

If there is a God, that means he runs everything and knows everything.

If God wanted to do something, he could do it any way he wanted to do.

As a result of this birth, Jesus taught the Kingdom of God would now be available to anyone.

God says, “I want you in my Kingdom” and will do whatever it takes to enable that to happen, even if the wooden manger leads to a wooden cross.

God asks us then to trust him as much as we are able.

Why do it at all?

I love my kids more than I love you.

God loves you more than I love you.

God is perfect.

God does everything necessary to love you.

John 3:16 (NIV84) “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

Matthew 5:48 (NIV84) Be perfect, therefore, as your heavenly Father is perfect.
