We didn’t set out to slack off. It just sort of happened. We budgeted well for several years. Stayed disciplined. Paid off debts. Found new ways to give. And after a while we started paying a little less attention to our finances.
Do you remember the Creation narrative in Genesis 1, and then it’s repeated in Genesis? It’s the whole “God created the world” idea. The highest point of creation was when God made humanity.
